LOCAL COMPANY TOP 5 IN THE NATION!
December 16, 2010 – Winnipeg, Manitoba - Harwood Design Builders Ltd., is pleased to announce they are once again one of five Finalists for the Kitchen Renovation category, as well as one of five finalist in the website design category for the 2010 CHBA National SAM Awards – Presented by Schlage and Trane Canada.
The CHBA National SAM Awards celebrate excellence in new homes and renovation design, innovative technology and construction techniques, outstanding presentation, and marketing activities across Canada.
Twenty-three CHBA National SAM Awards will be presented at the Association’s 68th National Conference on February 27, 2011 in Banff, Alberta.
CHBA President Victor Fiume said that winning a National SAM is a real honour and distinction.“Each year, the bar seems to get raised a little higher, as new home builders, renovators and developers across the country strive to outdo themselves and each other,” enthuses Mr. Fiume. “The quality, the sheer excellence of the projects chosen as this year’s finalists is nothing short of inspirational.”
Harwood Design Builders Ltd., President, Wayne Sage, is thrilled at the announcement. “We stand second to none when it comes down to producing quality construction and renovations work,” said Wayne. “We’re thrilled not only to have made the list of finalists in two categories, but we are one of only two Manitoba companies on the entire list of 113 finalists.”
Harwood is no rookie when it comes to getting up to the podium to receive awards for his company’s work. Harwood received Gold Award recognition at the local MHBA Awards Ceremony the past two years and was in the Top 5 for a SAM award in 2009.
